WSOP International Circuit Marrakech : Day 1A of the Main Event Starts at 1 P.M.
Welcome back to the stunning Casino de Marrakech and the luxurious Es Saadi Resort for the launch of the Main Event of the WSOP International Circuit Marrakech festival, a 15,000 dirhams tournament with a great setup for the final table.
The last survivors of the tournament, which will be streamed from Day 2, have the chance to enjoy a great experience. The casino staff has built an extraordinary feature table in the garden of the beautiful Resort with a terrific view of the pool.
Before reaching the glamorous final table, players have to navigate their way through three days of poker against fierce competition. The 15,000 MAD (€1,350) Main Event offers two starting flights with 45 minute levels. These two flights will be joined into one on day 2, which kicks off on June 22. During the second day we will see 60 minute levels while on the final day players will get to play deep structure with 75 minutes levels.
The World Series of Poker Circuit has landed in North Africa for the sixth time and five rings have already been awarded since the beginning of this festival, six days ago.
The tournament will have twelve 45-minute levels on Thursday and Friday. Players can register (or re-entry) until the end of Level 9. There will be a break after every three levels and the one-hour dinner break is after level nine.
Last time in Morocco, in January, Sonny Franco triumphed in the tournament and picked up his fourth ring (he has now five, a record for a French player). The Frenchman won 1,500,000 MAD for his victory and we will be looking for a new king or queen of Marrakech over the next four days.
You won't miss any of the action because the PokerNews live reporting team will be on the floor from start to finish providing updates throughout the whole tournament.
