Jeremy Ausmus Eliminated in 8th Place ($38,570)

Level 21 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Jeremy Ausmus, who began the day second in chips but had since waned, raised to 33,000 in the cutoff, Robert "Uncle Krunk" Panitch called on the button, and both blinds released. The dealer fanned {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, Ausmus continued for 35,000, and Panitch raised to 77,000. Ausmus thought for 30 seconds or so, then moved all in for 480,000. Panitch snap-called.

Ausmus: {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Panitch: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Ausmus needed some help to double, but received none when the turn and river came {a-Hearts}, {q-Clubs} respectively. Ausmus is out in eight place, and will take $38,570 back to Sin City.

Panitch is now the chip leader with over 1.1 million chips.
