Bharat vs. Saul

Level 32 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Since Paul Snead's exit it has been nothing but Lall Bharat and Kevin Saul going at it. The former has managed to get the best of the latter in two hands that allowed him to take over the chip lead.

In the first, Bharat limped from the small blind and then called when Saul raised to 230,000 in the big. Bharat then led out for 250,000 on the {7-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} flop, Saul called, and the {K-Clubs} turned. This time Bharat checked and it Saul bet 365,000. Bharat woke up with a check-raise to 800,000 and Saul quickly folded.

In another hand, Bharat raised to 225,000 from the button and Saul called from the small blind. Saul then check-called a bet of 250,000 on the {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} flop before both players checked the {5-Spades} turn. Saul seized the initiative when the {7-Diamonds} peeled off on the river by betting 320,000, and Bharat called with the {K-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. It was good as Saul could only muster the {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}.
