Madsen Loses Some Chips
Jeff Madsen made it 1,600 to go in the cutoff, and the button raised it up to 3,800. It folded back to Madsen, and he grabbed a pink T5,000 chip, put together a raise to 8,600, and slid it into the middle. His opponent called, and the flop came down .
Madsen was not scared by the big cards, as he put out a bet of 11,500. His opponent thought for about 30 seconds before throwing in a min raise, but it wasn't quite enough. He had only thrown out 21,000, so it took some time to figure out exactly how much he could raise to. Eventually, Madsen picked up his cards, and frustratingly tossed them to the muck.
It was a good fold, as his opponent eventually tabled for middle set. Madsen is still amongst our chip leaders after the hand, sitting on 64,000.
