Griffin Doesn't Win The Race

Kevin Calenzo opened the pot with a raise from the cutoff position. Gavin Griffin was waiting on the button and he moved all in. The small blind thought for a bit before moving all in for less and both the big blind and Calenzo got out of the way.

Griffin, realizing that his tournament life was not the one at risk, took back some of his chips and began trying to count out the amount of his opponents all in. This caused some confusion as the dealer wanted to be clear that Griffin announced all in. Once they figured out the confusion the hands were turned up.

Griffin: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
Opponent: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Griffin is down to just over 10 big blinds.
