Lowery Beating Up On the Clarks

Daniel Lowery is all the way up into second place after dragging two pots in short order.

The first one began with him opening to 60,000, and Chris Clark called to see a heads-up flop. It came {J-Spades} {5-Spades} {4-Hearts}, and Lowery checked and called a bet of 100,000 from his opponent. The {2-Clubs} on the turn drew a check-check from the two men, and the river came the {9-Diamonds}. Lowery merely had to reach for chips, and Clark quickly surrendered.

A couple hands later, it was David Clark opening to 45,000, and Lowery defended his big blind. The flop came {9-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {7-Spades}, and Lowery check-called another 67,000 from Clark. When the {4-Hearts} turned, though, he led right out with 85,000, and Clark quickly called. The river brought the {8-Diamonds} and another bet from Lowery, 150,000 this time. Clark gave it a look, but he eventually uncapped his cards and used the chip to flick his cards into the muck.
