Brikis Makes a Good Laydown

Action folded to Josh Brikis in the hijack and he put in a raise to 17,000, which was called by the cutoff and big blind, with the latter checking the {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{Q-Spades} flop. Brikis took the opportunity to continuation-bet 21,000, only to have the cutoff instantly move all in for about 110,000.

The big blind got out of the way, and Brikis did the same. The cutoff then tabled {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}, confirming that Brikis had in fact made a good lay down.
