You Won the Hand, Sir
Level 13
: 700/1,400, 200 ante
Denise Molloy and the other short stack at her table got it in preflop with Molloy's racing for the pot against her opponent's .
The board ran out , counterfeiting Molloy with three pair and forcing her to pay out the double. When she did, she was left with just 2,600 chips, but her opponent didn't realize what was happening. He stood over the table for a moment, staring back down at the board as Molloy counted her chips. The gentleman proceeded to wish his table luck, and he began to walk away before the table called him back.
"You won the hand, sir."
The gentleman finally snapped to his senses, sitting back down to play poker with the ~40,000 chips awarded to him through that double.
