Torchinsky Burned; Rusch Slowing
Shawn Rusch opened to 18,000 from early position, and Daniel Cohen moved all in for 118,000 right next door. Across the table, Jeremy Torchinsky called all in for around 75,000, and Rusch had the closing action. "Well, what have I gotten myself into?!" he asked aloud. "I guess I can't fold now," he admitted, plunking the calling chips into the pot. Cards up, gents:
Rusch:
Cohen:
Torchinsky:
The board ran out to send the much-needed pot to Cohen. He's back over 300,000 now, while Rusch drops to 86,000. It could be worse though; just ask Torchinsky. He's out of chips, waiting for his escort to the payout desk as we speak.
