Battle Of The Big Stacks Goes To Bell

Level 20 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Chris Bell
Chris Bell

Under the gun, Micah Raskin raised to 18,000. Action folded to Chris Klodnicki on the button and he called, as did Chris Bell from the big blind.

The flop came down {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and both Bell and Raskin checked. Klodnicki bet 24,000, with only Bell calling to see the {8-Hearts} on the turn. Bell checked and Klodnicki put chips together for a bet, settling on 64,000. Bell once again called and upon seeing the {J-Hearts} hit the river, he bet 164,000.

Klodnicki stared intently at the both Bell and the board before kicking in his cards, surrendering the pot to Bell. Bell showed {Q-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a missed double gutter as he collected the chips.

Almost Set to Go

The players are all in their seats, but we're not quite ready just yet. They're being mic'd up and shown how to use the hole card cameras on the table, and there are still a few forms to fill out and administrative tasks to check off the list.

Ty Stewart is tableside right now thanking and congratulating the players and telling them about the $1 million freeroll National Championship in May to which they've each earned a seat.

In a few minutes, the nine of them will be whisked off the stage so that they can be properly introduced and escorted to the table with the cameras rolling.

We expect to be under way in 15 minutes or so.
