Cheung Doubles Through Haynes

WSOP Bracelet winner Robert Cheung open-shoved for 630,000 from early position and the action folded to Victor Haynes who called from the hijack seat. Everyone else folded and the hands were turned face up.

Haynes closed his eyes as the flop fell {a-Diamonds} {j-Spades} {8-Diamonds} and was not phased when he opened his eyes to see Cheung had stolen the lead. Cheung then turned around in his chair, and neither player was looking as the {10-Hearts} came on the turn giving Haynes eight more outs to a straight.

"Do it, do it, do it," Drazen Ilich chanted, rooting for the KO.

Again, neither player watched as the river brought the {8-Hearts} , but once a floorperson announced the card the two opened their eyes and Cheung was shipped the pot.
