Makarov Shoves On El Sayed
Marvin Rettenmaier opened to 8,500 from UTG+1, Sam El Sayed was two to his left and he made the call. The action then folded around to Alexey Makarov on the button and he squeezed to 21,000. Rettenmaier got out of the way but El Sayed made the call.
After burning a card the dealer put out the flop and El Sayed quickly lead for 35,500. Makarov sat completely statuesque, his left hand over his card and his right hand over his mouth; much like the famous Thinker statue. He stayed like this for over 90-seconds before confirming the bet amount and making the call.
Fourth street was the and El Sayed bet again, this time slightly more than his flop bet at 45,000. Makarov acted a little faster this time around, moving all-in for 91,000 in total.
El Sayed looked to the skies before exhaling loudly. He squirmed in his chair for a few minutes before asking himself, "why would he shove the turn? Nines?" A few moments later El Sayed folded and was shown the by Makarov.
