Ramos Smooth Calls

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Under the gun, Joep van den Bijgaart raised it up and he received no less than 4 callers.

All of them checked on {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and the {7-Spades} popped up on the river. Big blind Simon Deadman bet out 1,200 and Van den Bijgaart was quick to fold. Van den Bijgaart's neighbor Felipe Ramos called, hijack Morten Mortensen called, and the player in the cutoff folded.

Three-way up to the river as the {Q-Hearts} completed the board. Deadman bet out 4,100 and Ramos contemplated what to do for a bit before calling. Mortensen over called.

Deadman was quick to let the other players know he didn't have much of anything. He silently mucked his cards and Ramos showed {8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for the straight. Mortensen mucked his, what we believe was, {6-}{9-}.
