Wigg Takes from Leech

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

partypoker online qualifier James Leech raised to 1,400 and Anton Wigg three-bet to 3,800, which was called by the Canadian. On the {2-Spades}?{7-Clubs}?{10-Spades} flop, Leech check-called a bet of 4,400 and did so again after the {4-Spades} turn for 7,600. The {4-Clubs} fell on the river and Leech checked, Wigg grabbed some chips and then made it 13,600 to go.

Leech was in the think tank for several minutes and Emil Mattsson then called time. Less than 20 seconds before the end of the consideration time, Leech called and his {J-Diamonds}?{J-Clubs} was only second best to the {Q-Clubs}?{Q-Hearts} of Wigg. "I was gonna check-shove the river," the Canadian said.
