From the very beginning of this tournament Layne Flack's stack has been on an upward ascent. That's continuing today on Day 3. He recently took a pot away from Tommy Vedes out of the small blind. Vedes opened for 7,200 preflop and Flack was the only caller. Flack check-called 10,700 on a flop of . Both players checked the turn. When the river fell Flack cut 18,500 chips off of his stack and threw them in the middle. Vedes tanked for about sixty seconds, looked like he thought about raising, and then mucked.
