Merson Doubles Through Duhamel

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Before the dinner break, Jonathan Duhamel came from behind to double up against Greg Merson, as his pocket deuces got there against Merson's pocket kings. This time, it was Merson who got there against Duhamel in another clash between the two former World Series of Poker Main Event champions.

Action folded to Merson on the button, and the winner of the 2012 WSOP Main Event moved all in for 100,000 even. Duhamel, winner of the 2010 WSOP Main Event, made the call from the big blind with the {A-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Merson had the {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}.

The board ran out {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}, and Merson doubled up.
