Hand #17: Ly had the button, and raised to 11,000. Jeff Lisandro called from the big blind, and the flop came down {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Lisandro and Ly both checked to see the {4-Spades} land on the turn. Lisandro and Ly checked again, and then the {8-Hearts} landed on the river. Once again, both players checked.

Lisandro showed the {Q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for trip fours, and he won the pot.

Hand #18: Lisandro limped in from the small blind, and Ly checked from the big blind. On the {6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop, Lisandro checked, and Ly bet 5,000. Lisandro called.

The {9-Clubs} was added on the turn, and Lisandro checked. Ly also checked.

The turn was the {10-Diamonds} to give Gray a flush, and he doubled up after the {4-Spades} completed the board on the river.

Hand #4: Ly opened again, this time from the cutoff seat to 9,000. Paul Sharbanee called from the big blind, and the flop came down {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{3-Clubs}. Sharbanee checked, Ly bet 12,000, Sharbanee raised, Ly reraised, and the next thing we knew the money was all in.

Ly had the {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, and he had Sharbanee's {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} in bad shape.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds}, and the river was the {7-Hearts} to eliminate Sharbanee.

Fireworks On the First Hand

Hand #1: The button started with Paul Sharbanee to begin the day. Jason Gray opened the action with a raise to 12,000. Sharbanee reraised the pot, Gray put him all in, and Sharbanee called.

Sharbanee tabled the {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, and Gray had the {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

The flop, turn, and river ran out {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} to give Sharbanee the double up on the very first hand.

Time To Crown a Pot-Limit Omaha Champion

Welcome to Day 3 of the AU$1,650 Pot-Limit Omaha event from the 2014 World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific. Just six players remain from the starting field of 123, and they're all vying for the AU$51,660 top prize and the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.

Zane Ly, who finished sixth in the first event of the series, leads the pack. He's trailed by Australian Poker Hall of Fame members Jason Gray, Jeff Lisandro, and Gary Benson, and then Paul Sharbanee and Paul Mac bring up the tail end. Lisandro will be looking to earn his sixth gold bracelet, whereas Benson will be aiming for his second.

What's more, is that for the second time in three events the festival it's an all-Australian final table.
