Rousso & Politano Hit the Rail

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

Vanessa Rousso

Mikel Habb opened for 1,200 from middle position and Vanessa Rousso defended from her big blind. The {7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{q-Clubs} flop saw Rousso shove her last 5,500 or so and Habb made the call.

"I have the queen," Rousso said before tabling the {q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}. She was confident and seemed shocked to see Habb, who did take a few beats to call, roll over a better queen with the {q-Hearts}{a-Hearts}.

"King," Rousso called, but the dealer did not oblige as the {3-Hearts} blanked on the turn followed by the {8-Spades} on the river. Rousso made her way to the payout desk to get paid on some bounties while Habb chipped up to 30,000.

Meanwhile, November Niner Bruno Politano has also been eliminated from the tournament.
