Madsen Stars on Broadway

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

Just before the break, Mark Bartrom opened for 350 from middle position only to have 2006 World Series of Poker Player of the Year Jeff Madsen three-bet to 1,050 from the cutoff. The button and both blinds folded, and then Bartrom called to see a flop of {10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

Bartrom checked, Madsen bet 1,025, and Bartrom thought for 40 seconds before releasing his hand. It was a good thing he did too as Madsen showed that he had flopped the joint with the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}.
