The Speech Play is Real

Level 5 : 150/300, 50 ante

With about 4,500 in the pot, on a board reading {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, Paul Scott checked from the small blind. Louis Boutin was in the cutoff and bet 2,600. Scott paused for a moment and said "Oh these cards are gonna get me in trouble" and then called.

The turn was the {k-Hearts} and Scott checked again. Boutin thought for a moment and checked back. The dealer put out the {4-Diamonds} on the river and Scott said "Great. Shows weakness. I love weakness." He proceeded to bet 9,000. Boutin was in the tank and Scott said "You know what you gotta do" as he shuffled his cards back and forth. "You hit that" said Boutin. "I'm not allowed to talk about the hand" replied Scott. "If this was a cash game I'd ask you to pick one" he continued. Eventually, Boutin folded and Scott raked in the pot.
