Zhmutski KO's Hwang

Peter Zhmutski opened to 10,000 from under the gun only to have Andy Hwang three-bet to 26,000 from the cutoff. The blinds folded and Zhmutski called.

The dealer brought down a flop of {2-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Zhmutski checked to Hwang who continued out for 16,000. Zhmutski opted to check-raise, however, and it was suddenly 56,000 to go. Hwang called and the turn came {6-Clubs}.

Zhmutski wasted no time announcing that he was all in, which was actually a bet for Hwang's tournament life. Hwang called and showed {K-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} only to find that he was behind Zhmutski's {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}.

The {q-Spades} fell on fifth street and Hwang was forced to settle for a spot on the rail. Zhmutski, however, is now sporting a stack of 655,000.
