James Mordue Folds Queens Thanks to Torn Shorts
James Mordue was talking with his friend Todd Elwood and had a tear in the back of his shorts. The tear went pretty much the entire length of his left leg and apparently he didn't notice.
The table let him know and he wasn't too happy.
"These are Burberry shorts, I should have know better than to pay $200 for them."
The players joked about him needing to win the tournament to get more shorts from Wal-Mart and Mordue sat down and raised under the gun.
Tien Phan went all in behind him for 350,000, which was just below Mordue's 390,000.
"I think I should take this as an omen and not play this hand," Mordue said.
He thought for another moment before folding and showing pocket queens. Phan flashed him two aces and Mordue went off to get some new shorts.
