Remaud Eliminated by Bouvier
Level 18
: 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
"The blinds have priority," the tournament director confirmed with the dealer which could only mean one thing. One player had just lost the vast majority of the chips and was forced all-in out of the blinds.
That happened to be Jean-Charles Remaud after a clash with Titas Gancierius and he was all-in for the final 3,000 out of the big blind. He then faced the raise to 8,000 by Sylvain Pujol from under the gun and the button call by Gancierius.
Alexis Bouvier squeezed to 50,000 in the small blind and isolated successfully.
Jean-Charles Remaud:
Alexis Bouvier:
"I had king-queen, no worries it's a standard play," Pujol told Bouvier in French. The board kept jacks in the lead and Remaud exited late on Day 1a.
