Koon Bows Out as Penultimate Bubble Boy

Level 17 : 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jason Koon

David Peters raised the button to 100,000 holding the {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and the short-stacked Jason Koon called out of the big with the {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}.

Koon, who only had 85,000 back, checked the {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop and called a 25,000 bet from Peters.

A resigned Koon then check-called off his last 60,000 on the {7-Hearts} turn. Koon was looking for a ten on the river to stay alive, but it wasn't meant to be as the {3-Spades} peeled off instead.

With that, just one more player needs to leave before the money is made.
