Jason Tompkins Eliminated in 10th Place (€5,390)

It folded to Steven Vollers in the small blind and he shoved his stack of about 500,000. That covered Jason Tompkins in the big, and he hit the tank for several minutes before finally putting in the call.

It was a decent spot for Tompkins, as he had {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} against the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} of Vollers, but the board of {5-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} was unkind to Tompkins, and his day was done in 10th place for €5,390.

Jamie Nixon opened under the gun to 40,000, and Niall Farrell shoved from his big blind. Nixon called off quickly and it was a race situation with Farrell holding sixes against the big slick of Nixon.

The board of {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades} went in Nixon's favour and Farrell was off to the payouts desk to collect €5,390.

Side Event Action Today

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Day 3 Schedule
Day 3 Schedule

In addition to the final day of the Main Event, there will be lots of other poker action going on today. The Mini ME is already underway, with a 30,000 chip stack and 15 minute blinds. Action is just ticking over into Level 4 with 49 total entries so far, and 46 stacks still in play.

At 4PM today, a €100 + €100 + €20 Progressive Knockout kicks off. They'll play 15 minute blind levels with a 15,000 chip start stack in a progressive bounty format that is common online, but less common in live poker.

The other tournament in action today is Day 2 of the Unibet Super Stack. They played down to the money on Day 1 yesterday, and so 15 players return today to battle it out for the prizes.

Here's a look at how the stacks break down for Day 2 of the Super Stack.

Jack Hardcastle Eliminated in 12th Place (€4,680)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

It folded to short stack Jack Hardcastle on the button who looked at {a-}{9-} and moved all in. Weijie Zheng called with {a-}{k-} in the small blind, and Ciaran Burke woke up with {q-}{q-} in the big blind.

With a king on the board, Zheng scooped a massive pot to take over the chip lead, while Hardcastle was forced to accept 12th place money worth €4,680.
