Ian Simpson became the first of the four Unibet Poker ambassadors to enter the High Roller to hit the rail. He lost his stack in a series of three hands.

In the last hand, he check-jammed with {A-}{3-Clubs} on a {4-}{5-}{6-} board over Narcis Gabriel Nedelcu for 17,000 and his opponent called with a set holding {6-}{6-}.

Simpson was unable get a save for a straight on the turn or river and was eliminated in 37th place. Meanwhile, Nedelcu's stack has grown to 70,000.

Unibet Poker Ambassador Rauno "Estonian Jesus" Tahvonen rebounded before the late registration period ended. He was down to 6,200 and managed to end the level with 30,000 in chips.

The most pivotal hand in his rebound came when Andrzej Skoczylas jammed with {8-}{7-} from the small blind. Tahvonen in the big blind was more than covered with about nine big blinds to start the hand and called with {A-}{9-}. The board ran blanks and Tahvonen doubled up.

He then found a couple of spots postflop further grow his stack to 30,000 before the first blind level of the day was in the books.

Tobias Peters opened from the hijack to 2,000. Daniel Chutrov three-bet from the button to 6,000 and Peters called.

Peters check-called a bet of 6,500 from Peters after the flop came {6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. The {8-Clubs} came on the turn and both players checked.

The {5-Spades} completed the board on the river and Peters led out for 11,300 and got a quick call from Chutrov. Peters turned over {A-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a straight, which was more than good against the two-pair held by Chutrov with {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Amir Shomron opened for 2,500 from early position. Unibet Poker Ambassador Rauno Tahvonen jammed effectively covering the 20,100 of his opponent and Shomron snap-called.

Shomron was slightly ahead in the flip situation and improve to a bigger favorite after the flop came {4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. The {7-Diamonds} spiked the turn and Tahvonen was drawing dead to his opponent's set.

The {5-Clubs} completed the board on the river. Tahvonen's stack took a big hit and was down to six big blinds after the hand.

"Nice hand," said Tahvonen as his opponent was stacking chips.
