"Doke" and Simpson Ready To Shine
Brand-new Unibet Poker Ambassadors Ian Simpson and Dara "Doke" O'Kearney are ready to shine here on Day 1b. Together with David Lappin, the Irish trio recently signed on to represent the Unibet brand and fit into Unibet Poker's ethos of being a fun and friendly place to play poker.
Simpson shot to fame in 2013 when he topped a field of 505 entries in the Irish Open Main Event, a result that netted him €265,000 and ended on one knee with a proposal to his girlfriend. Later that year, Simpson was the runner-up in the UKIPT London Main Event and banked an additional ￡106,869.
O’Kearney, affectionately known as “Doke,” has traveled the globe playing in live poker events. O’Kearney is also a superb writer and keeps an excellent poker blog where he pens his thoughts about all things poker and more. Lappin hasn't taken his seat yet, but will show up later during the day.
