Short Break

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Dermot Blain had a phone interview for Full Tilt scheduled for just after 3pm (the tough life of an Ambassador!) and asked the rest of the table if they could take the twenty minute break early. Everyone agreed to that so we're now on a short break.

Blain Flushes Maguire

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Jan Przysucha raised to 4,300 from the cutoff and was met with calls by Kyle Maguire and Full Tilt Ambassador Dermot Blain. All three checked the {K-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop and Maguire fired 5,500 on the {Q-Diamonds} turn. Blain made the call and Przysucha folded.

The river was the {7-Clubs} and Maguire bet 12,000 before Blain made it 27,400. Maguire wasn't too happy but he made the call and the Irishman showed {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a turned flush to win the pot.

Dermot Blain Doubles Up

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Dermot Blain raised to 4,200 and was raised by Chris Day from the big blind to 10,600.

Blain responded with a 4-bet to 19,200. When Day shoved all in the ambassador quickly called and showed {Q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. He was up against Days {A-Spades}{3-Clubs}

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Blain survived to double his chips.

Przysucha Doubles Up

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Jan Przysucha doubled up through Kyle Maguire when he shoved with {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and was called by Maguires {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}.

The board ran out {2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} to put a dent in Maguires stack and keep Przysucha in the game.

Blain and Aido Chop

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Dermot Blain opened to 4,000 from the small blind and Sergio Aido made it 9,600 in the big blind. The Full Tilt Ambassador checked his stack and moved all in for about 70,000 more. Aido got a count and then made the call.

Blain: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Aido: {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

The board came Queen high with a single diamond but Blain couldn't catch the unlikely runner-runner for a double up and was instead forced to chop with his Spanish opponent.

Maguire Caught

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Jan Przysucha opened to 3,300 from the button and was called by Chris Day and Kyle Maguire out of the blinds. The {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop was checked around and when Day checked the {3-Diamonds} turn, Maguire bet 6,500. Przysucha folded and Day called to see the {3-Spades} on the river.

Day checked a third time and Maguire bet 11,000 which Day quickly called. The Scot mucked and Day tabled {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} to win the pot.

Can't Bluff Aido

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Sergio Aido opened to 3,600 from the small blind and Jan Przysucha made the call in the big blind to see a {8-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} flop. Aido bet 3,000 and Przysucha made the call to see the {5-Clubs} on the turn. Aido now check-called a bet of 5,000 from his Polish opponent and the {3-Diamonds} river paired the board. Aido checked again and Przysucha bet 11,200 - instantly being called.

Przysucha looked crestfallen, "Queen-high."

Aido flipped {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} to win the pot.

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Full Tilt Ambassador Dermot Blain opened to 3,300 from UTG and it was passed around to Niall Farrell, who moved all in from the small blind. Kyle Maguire in the big blind then reraised all in and Blain quickly folded.

Maguire: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Farrell: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The board came {6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and Farrell became the first casualty of the final table.

Farrell in Trouble

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Sergio Aido opened preflop to 3,300 before Niall Farrell made it 8,200 from the big blind. The Spaniard made the call to see a {10-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop where Farrell bet another 8,500. As quick as a flash, Aido stuck his entire stack of blue 5k chips to commit Farrell and the Irishman quickly gave up his hand.
