PokerStars UKIPT London Main Event Continues With Day 1b/c

UKIPT Trophy
UKIPT Trophy

The PokerStars UKIPT has returned to London, this year running at the Hippodrome Casino in Leicester Square. The Main Event continues today with Day 1b, the second of three starting flights, kicking off at 12 p.m. local time.

Entrants will start the tournament with a stack of 30,000 chips and blind levels will run for 40 minutes, with regular breaks throughout the day. Blinds start at 100/100 with a 100 big blind ante.

Players can take a maximum of three entries per flight, with late registration open until the start of Level 11. All starting flights will play down to 15 percent of the field. Those who survive will make it through to Day 2 and into the money.

Day 1c also runs later today, starting at 7 p.m. local time. It will be a turbo flight and the last chance for players to make it through.

Kieran Davey of the UK finished yesterday's flight as chip leader with 718,000 chips. Football influencer and PokerStars ambassador Adam McKola also bagged for Day 2.

The UKIPT London Main Event runs until Sunday night, at which point a new champion will be crowned.

PokerNews will be bringing you live updates of Day 1b straight from the tournament floor and following the event all the way down to a winner.
