Talvard Loses All In Battle Then Wins Rollercoaster Hand
Antoine Talvard made a late position raise and Marcin Puczylowski reraised to 455,000, leaving just a few chips behind. Talvard moved all in for the rest of Puczylowski's stack. Puczylowski attempted a little stalling but was quickly pulled up for it by the floor staff and made the call. He was at risk as players flipped their cards.
Marcin Puczylowski: K?Q?
Antoine Talvard: A?J?
The board ran out 4?K?2?Q?5? to give Puczylowski two pair with his kings and queens. He claimed the double up and Talvard took a hit.
The following hand, Talvard raised again and was met with an all in for 560,000 from Adam Salamov. All other players folded and Talvard made the call with slightly more chips. Players flipped their cards.
Adam Salamov: K?Q?
Antoine Talvard: K?K?
Talvard was well ahead against Salamov. In what would become a rollercoaster of a hand, the board ran out J?A?10?8?5?. That gave Salamov a straight on the flop and it looked like Talvard was set to lose most of his chips.
However, the river completed Talvard's flush. He took down the pot and Salamov was eliminated from the tournament.
