Doubles For Robl and Cao
There have been no new entries or bust-outs for a while, but chips are still changing hands quite frequently. One beneficiary of all the chip movements has been Andrew Robl, who earned a double at the expenses of Elton Tsang. The pair were in the process of discussing Tsang's monster pot against Jason Koon in the Million Euro Cash Game the previous evening as Tsang casually flicked off a 28,000 early position raise off the top of his stack.
Robl was the only caller on the button and it was heads-up to a flop of , which Tsang checked. Robl moved all-in for 108,000 and while Tsang did not look as though he liked it he grudgingly made the call.
"You have nine-ten?" Tsang asked Robl.
"I have a ten," the US pro replied, turning over , which was trailing to Tsang's , until the turn saw Robl make the straight. The river completed the hand and Robl stacked up to 275,000 while Tsang dropped to 450,000.
Rui Cao earned a double at the expense of Hau Lim Chan the next table over immediately afterward. It was Paul Phua who opened the action with an under-the-gun limp before Chan raised to 56,000 from middle position. Rui Cao casually threw out the call and Phua folded to take the action heads-up to the flop.
Chan open-shoved and Cao called immediately. Chan had while Cao had . The turn changed nothing, but the river gave Cao the straight and he climbed to 250,000 while Chan dropped to 350,000.
