In the HK$ 250,000 6-Max Event, Timofey Kuznetsov bagged up the lead after Day 1, but this won't be the case for the Main Event as the Russian has just been eliminated during the last hands of the night.

Kuznetsov raised from the button to 14,000 and Sergio Aido three-bet to 43,000 in the small blind, which Kuznetsov called. The flop fell {J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Aido continued for 26,000, which prompted Kuznetsov to move all in for around 180,000. Aido snap-called and Kuznetsov knew that was bad news.

Aido turned over his {J-Spades}{J-Hearts} for top set and Kuznetsov had a dry smile on the face before rolling over {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}, pointing to the ace for a runner runner miracle. It was all over after the {K-Spades} turn, making the {9-Diamonds} river a formality. "Now you have a free mind to play cash game," Paul Phua added. Kuznetsov joked "should I rebuy now?" as there was just one hand left for the night on his table.
