Rafferty Above Half a Million in First Break
Tom Rafferty opened to 11,000 in the cutoff and Michael Egan defended out of the big blind but quickly check-folded a flop.
Vincent Huang min-raised the button to 10,000 and Sean Ragozzini made the call from the big blind. On the flop, both players checked and the followed on the turn. A bet of 20,000 by Ragozzini did the trick to win the pot right there.
Rafferty's next raise to 11,000 was shut down by a three-bet of Ragozzini in the small blind and Rafferty then raised to 11,000 once more, this time from under the gun. Ebon Bokody called and they checked the flop. After the turn, Bokoddy checked and Rafferty bet 10,000 to claim the pot without further resistance.
Bokody limped the small blind one hand later and Rafferty checked. The flop was bet by Bokody and Rafferty called. On the turn, Bokody checked and Rafferty bet 20,000 into a pot of 29,000, Bokody called. The fell on the turn and Bokody check-folded to a bet worth 38,000 before heading into the first scheduled 10-minute break of the day.
