Another night has ended in the $360 Regional NLHE at the 2021 MSPT United States Poker Championship. A total of 165 entries came out to Sycuan Casino in San Diego, CA for the second of three Day 1 flights, with 23 players surviving to bag at the end of the night.

Those players will eventually join the 13 players that made it through Thursday's Day 1a flight, as well as all players that survive Saturday's Day 1c flight. All players that make through any of the Day 1 flights will return for Sunday's Day 2 phase, and the tournament will play down to a champion.

Day 1b ended with Pedro Prado (468,000) atop the chip leaderboard. Other healthy stacks at the end of Day 1b included Ronald Oeding (385,000), Pierre Poulin (380,000) and Josh Stone (321,000).

Other players making it through Friday's action included Kekai Tanaka (227,000), Qi Guo (212,000) and Chris Smith (203,000).

Plenty of formidable players came through the Sycuan Casino Events Center for Day 1b. Some of the names not making it through the end of Day 1b play included Ben Moon, Nahrain Tamero, and Nick Pupillo.

All of those players can still qualify for Day 2, however, as the $360 Regional plays as an unlimited re-entry tournament. The tournament is well on its way to surpassing the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool, and Saturday's Day 1c flight is expected to draw the biggest attendance of the three opening-day phases.
