Wilbur Takes it with Aces
After a raise to 2,200 preflop from Adam Wilbur and two callers, the flop came .
Justin Barnum was first to act in the small blind and he checked to Wilbur, who continued for 2,500. This produced a fold from the middle position and a call from Barnum.
The turn was the and after Wilbur fired again for 5,000, Barnum check-raised to 12,000 and Wilbur made the call.
The river fell the and Barnum decided to check this time, and Wilbur asked to see how much he had in his stack. After Barnum slid out his stack of orange chips (5ks) to show he had about 30,000 left. Wilbur then reluctantly checked back and Barnum announce one-pair as he turned over for a pair of fives, but they were no good as Wilbur flipped over for a much bigger pair to take the pot.
