Tyler Wakes Up with Aces, Doubles Thriough Colson

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Robert Schoonover opened for 35,000 from the hijack only to have Rodney Colson three-bet all in for 198,000 from the cutoff.

Action folded to Ryan Tyler who called off his 190,000 from the big blind while Schoonover quickly mucked his hand.

Ryan Tyler: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Rodney Colson: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Tyler was ahead with his pair of aces and the {7-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop didn't change a thing.

The {10-Spades} turn did give Colson some hope with a gut shot straight draw, but the {k-Diamonds} completed the board on the river and secured Tyler his double-up.

Colson was left with just 8,000 and was eliminated shortly after.

Janae Magnuson
Janae Magnuson

Stan Webb opened for 35,000 from under the gun only to have Janae Magnuson three-bet to 82,000 a few seats over from middle position.

Action folded back to Webb who four-bet to 185,000, and then called Magnuson's 409,000 five-bet jam.

Janae Magnuson: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Stan Webb: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Magnuson woke-up with aces at the perfect time as the {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} runout secured her double-up.
