The Mid-States Poker Tour $1,100 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event at Venetian Las Vegas Nevada ends today with a champion to be given their first mid-states poker title. They will join the ranks of some of the best players, having navigated a field of 2,154 players to collect a massive payday of $294,327, courtesy of the $2,078,610 in the prize pool.
Robert Shega leads the final 16 with a chip lead of 11,460,000. The Ohio native is guaranteed his best lifetime cash already and looks to add to this accomplishment with taking down his first Mid-States Poker Tour title. Rounding out the podium are the Day 1a chip leader Valentin Oberhauser (9,535,000) and Joshua Suyat (8,150,000) each looking for their first MSPT title as well.
Jake Bazeley comes into the final table with the most lifetime poker cashes at $4,508,456 and will be sitting at 1,590,000. WSOP bracelet winner James Gilbert starts the day with 2,675,000 and looks to add an MSPT title to his trophies.
