After 15 full levels of play, Day 1b of the MSPT Grand Falls $1,110 Main Event has come to a close, and surviving players have bagged chips for Sunday's Day 2 restart. Mo Nuwwarah put the most chips in his bag with an impressive 642,000.

A total of 272 entrants took a shot at Day 1b, making the grand total of runners 503 for the Main Event. That number means first place will take home a healthy $104,579 and the trophy.

Mo Nuwwarah played solid throughout the day, but really made a push toward the end. He eliminated Terence Reid in the final level, and got big river value in one of the last hands of the night against Chris Moen.

Just behind them both sits Elizabeth Ethridge with 499,000. In addition to winning a big hand with aces versus kings, she also made a full house when she called a player's all in toward the end of the day.

All bagged players from both flight will return on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and play down to a winner. They will back up to near the end of level 14 where flight Day 1a ended to begin Day 2.

That does it for today's coverage. PokerNews will be on hand through the end of the tournament, so tune back in tomorrow to see how this one closes.
