Reichard Rocks Stuen for Huge Pot

Level 12 : 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Joshua Reichard
Joshua Reichard

Joshua Reichard and Leroy Stuen had been battling in several pots at table 10, with a recent pot earning Reichard a massive double up.

With about 15,000 in the pot on a flop of {k-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Spades}, Stuen bet 7,500 from middle position, which was met with a raise from Reichard to 24,500.

Stuen called to see the {2-Diamonds} fall on the turn. Again he led out, this time for 25,000. Reichard made the call, leaving himself 85,000 behind.

On the {8-Hearts} river, Stuen fired out another 25,000, and Reichard moved in that last 85,000.

Stuen quickly called and saw he was crushed, as Reichard showed {9-Spades}{8-Spades} for a flopped flush, while Stuen could only show {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}.

The pot vaults Reichard into the realm of the chip leaders, while Stuen has dropped almost half his stack since approaching 400,000.
