Others to advance were Eli Lowenthal (316,000), Johnny Madrid (304,000), Jason Kapoor (253,000), Andrew Moreno (166,000), and Allen Kessler (85,000).
Among those to fall on Day 1c were MSPT Hall of Famer Rich Alsup, WSOP bracelet winner Ben Moon, Nick Yunis, Sean Yu, PokerNews Podcast co-host Jeff Platt, Christina Read, Greg Geller, Jared Griener, Marty Gorenc, and Minnesota’s Dan “DQ” Hendrickson, the only man to have cashed every season of the MSPT since 2009.
The surviving players from all three flights (15 from Day 1a, 31 from 1b, and 35 from 1c) will return for Day 2 action at 11 a.m. local time on Sunday and play down to a winner. PokerNews will be there every step of the way to capture all the action, so be sure to join us then.
