Welcome to Day 1c of the 2019 MSPT Wisconsin State Poker Championship
The third and final starting flight of the 2019 MSPT Wisconsin State Poker Championship $1,100 Main Event commences today at 1 p.m. local time.
Yesterday’s Day 1b added 233 entries to Day 1a’s turnout of 120, meaning the two-day total of 353 has already surpassed the tournament’s $300,000 guaranteed prize pool, and the sky is the limit as Day 1c expected to be the largest flight of the three. As far as the happenings through the first two days, 42 players have put their names onto the Day 2 roster, and Day 1a chip leader Paul Camby (465,000) and Day 1b chip leader Umut Ozturk lead the way as the only two players over 400,000.
Day 1c will boast the same structure as the first two flights, with 15 levels of 40 minutes in length on the schedule and breaks after the completion of every three levels. Players receive 15,000 starting stacks with an optional $10 add-on for another 5,000. One reentry is allowed should things go south, and the late registration period will remain open until the beginning of Level 13.
Notable players such as Daniel Bekarac, Jason Seitz, Aaron Johnson, and Phil Mader have already unsuccessfully taken shots at advancing, and some or all of them are expected to be back in on the action for this final chance at finding a bag on Day 1c.
PokerNews will be on hand to report on all the action, so stay tuned to find out who else makes it through.
