Massive Three Way Pot Puts Toderici Way on Top
Things had been relatively quiet until recently. Marius Toderici just won a 2.5-million chip pot, but that might be the least interesting thing that happened on this hand.
In preflop action, Greg Seif opened for 90,000. Gerald Heckathorn called before Marius Toderici shoved all in. Seif called and Heckathorn went into the tank for a little.
"Ok, I call," said Heckathorn.
At that, Toderici turned over his hand to show , but Seif and Heckathorn both had him covered so they didn't show theirs. Toderici realized his mistake and turned his hand back over.
Everyone at the table had seen it and knew what Seif and Heckathorn were up against. The flop came and Seif and Heckathorn checked. They checked the on the turn as well.
When the hit the river Heckathorn shoved all in. Seif snap folded and Toderici was worried that Heckathorn had made a flush.
Heckathorn turned over and Torderici was relieved that the 2.5-million chip pot was coming his way.
Seif laughed and said, "You know he had aces?"
"I knew what he had, I wanted your money," Heckathorn replied.
"I had pocket kings!" Seif said.
