Padovani Takes a Big Pot With No Showdown
After an open by a player in middle position, Ruben Padovani on the button three-bet to 10,000. He was called by both players in the blinds and by the initial raiser.
The dealer fanned a flop of 5?5?10?. The blinds checked, but the middle position player led out for 10,000. Everybody called.
On the 7? turn, the first three players to act checked to Padovano, who decided to go all-in fo 96,500. The small blind went into the tank but fold. Same long decision and same result for the big blind.
It took even longer for the middle position player to make a decision. "You cannot win on the river," Padovani said while calling the clock. The middle position player eventually folded J?J? face up. The big blind revealed A?10? and Padovani scooped the pot.
