Esfandiari Chops with Sulsky

Level 8 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

One hand after he was crippled to just 9,000 by Dan Colman, Antonio Esfandiari was all in from the button for 8,000. Andrew Lichtenberger completed the small blind for 10,000, and then Ben Sulsky moved all in for around 130,000 or so from the big blind. Lichtenberger folded, and it was Esfandiari versus Sulsky with Esfandiari's tournament life on the line.

Esfandiari tabled the {Q-Clubs}{9-Spades} and was ahead of Sulsky's {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}.

"Thank you," said Esfandiari to Sulsky.

"I do what I can," responded Sulsky.

The flop, turn, and river ran out {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{K-Clubs}, and the two players chopped up the pot after playing their queen to make a Broadway straight.
