Parting Wey With Some Chips

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Bod Wey skyrocketed up the counts recently putting his stack to work and in the middle on multiple occasion. The last time Wey put his chips in the middle though, he got stung a bit by James Morin.

After an open to 600, four players called including Morin, only to see Wey three-bet to 3,000. It did not scare a single person off the pot, however, as all six players went to a {3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop.

All six players checked bringing the {6-Spades} on the turn. Wey bet enough to put any player willing to make the call at risk and Morin was the only player to oblige.

Bod Wey: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}
James Morin: {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

Morin was best needing to fade any spade that didn't improve him to a full house. The {2-Clubs} landed on the river giving Morin a straight and the double up.
