The Summer Slam 2018 $200,000 Guaranteed Main Event Kicks Off at 3 p.m.
The first of three qualifying flights for the $200,000 guaranteed Event #8: $600 Main Event will see cards hit the felt at 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon with Day 1a action.
Players will start with 30,000 tournament chips and blinds will increase every 40 minutes. Registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 11 with each Day 1 flight playing 15 levels or until the field is reduced to 12%. Players may play in any flight but only their largest stack will carry over into Day 2.
At the 2017 Summer Slam Main Event, Blake Napierala captured the least amount of money in a five-way chop but picked up the trophy after defeating Kristan Mackiewicz heads-up. Mackiewicz got the most of the deal banking $30,000. Napierala joined Russ Campanella (2016), William Liang (2015), and Buck Ramsay (2014) as former champions of the event.
