Paluch Bubbles; Fernandez Leads

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Patrick Fernandez
Patrick Fernandez

David Paluch just became the bubble boy, but he's not unhappy about it.

The collection they took up paid more than 10th through 12th.

In the end, Paluch ran {k-}{q-} into Patrick Fernandez' {a-}{q-} and with his chips, Fernandez has moved into chip lead position,

On The Bubble

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Chris Harker
Chris Harker

Shawn Toidl kept playing fast and loose until he ran jacks in Chris Harker's big slick for heaps.

Harker won the race and Toidl busted unceremoniously a few hands later.

In the meantime, Patrick Fernandez continues to run hot and just knocked out Rick Block and Shannon Farrell in the same hand when his queens held versus nines and an ace.

Now they're on the bubble and going out of pocket to make sure the bubble boy doesn't go home empty handed.

The Double-Double Knockout

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
David Paluch
David Paluch

First Joe Litz knocked out two players with one hand. He got there with big slick held after getting it all in preflop and he moved up to a spot in the pack behind the leaders.

Then David Paluch did the exact same thing. He got there with big slick held after getting it all in preflop and he moved up to a spot in the pack behind the leaders as well, just a couple of thousand chips ahead of Litz.

If this happens again we may start to suspect there's a glitch in the matrix.

Chucky's Revenge

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Chuck Friedman
Chuck Friedman

Chuck Friedman is running through this field like a freight train on fire.

Since getting off to a hot start, he's heated up even more, picking up aces three times.

He also managed to knock out two players in one hand, getting it in with pockets kings against nines and {k-}{q-}. He flopped the case king in case anybody thought he wasn't running good enough already.
