Johnson Jumps In
Level 8
: 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
2016 Western New York Poker Challenge runner-up Charles Johnson has started to make a run here.
The big hand that saw him leap into contention started when he looked down at two sixes and raised it up to 4,000. One opponent made it 12,000 and Johnson called, seeing a miracle flop. Johnson check-called 12,000, then check-raised 25,000 when the turn bricked, clicking it back to 50,000.
His opponent pushed in with two jacks and Johnson snapped it off with his full house. The boat held when the river bricked as well.
