Jocelyn Hinz Leads Day 2 in Event 1 at 2016 Seneca Fall Poker Classic
Four flights later, Jocelyn Hinz is Queen with 299,200 chips - topping a list of 92 players fighting for glory and a first place prize of $34,000!
Hinz was quiet during flight 1c but put on a clinic towards the end of the night to come out on top. Mike 'The Mayor' Rellinger led most of his flight and held on to bag 269,800 to sit second in chips among the field. Rounding out third is John Stempien who led the final flight after eliminating two players with just ace-queen high.
Notable players left in the field include Blake Napierala (220,200), Jerry Pokerwinski (206,900), Randy Pfeifer (175,200), Daniel Wagner (173,900), Art Demmerley (142,900), Maria Parlatore (142,100), Scott Aitchison (114,200), Ray Williiams (68,300), and Joe Ciffa (59,100).
Although there are many tough players remaining in the field, some of the ones who gave it a shot but didn't have a chance to bag include Andy Spears, Sean Bartlett, Peter Raimondi and Bruce Pace.
Day 2 begins at 11:00AM and blind levels are increasing to 40 minutes. Event 1 will play down to a winner tonight, with breaks every two levels.
