Battaglia Catches Queens

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante
David Battaglia
David Battaglia

David Battaglia pushed all in from the small blind for 466,000 over a Nathan Torrance button raise to 65,000.

Alex Visbisky over-shoved the big and Torrance folded. Visbisky's {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} had Battaglia's {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} dominated, but that didn't last.

The {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop gave Battaglia three queens and he faded a ten and runners on a {2-Spades} turn and {9-Spades} river to double.

Ryan Rivers Eliminated in 6th Place ($11,816)

It folded to Ryan Rivers in the small blind and he shipped it short with the {j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}.

Kurtis Boutelle looked him up in the big blind with the {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, holding on a {2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{3-Spades} run out.

Five-handed, Boutelle creeps up a little closer to Alex Visbisky with Rivers' chips now his.

Buck Ramsay Eliminated in 7th Place ($9,247)

Level 25 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Buck Ramsay

It won't be another title win for Seneca killer Buck Ramsay here today. He shoved the {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and got looked up by red-hot chip-leader Alex Visbisky holding the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

Buck wished the table good look after a {4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop left him all but dead. The {6-Clubs} turn and {5-Clubs} river sealed his fate seventh and sent Visbisky soaring up towards the three-million mark

Tight Is Right

There was not a ton of action here in the first half of Level 25 and the stacks remain about the same size.

Kurtis Boutelle three-bet the small blind over a Silvio DeRubeis cutoff raise.

When DeReubeis called, Boutelle ripped it in on a {J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop. DeRubeis folded.

Buck Ramsay has shoved in twice with no callers while fellow basement dweller Ryan Rivers has gotten one push through.

Alex Visbisky still leads.

Double The Dae Dae, Double The Fun

Level 24 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante
David Battaglia
David Battaglia

Nathan Torrance continues to double up the short stacks here, calling off with {a-}{j-} after David 'Dae Dae' Battaglia shoved 355,000 over his open.

Battaglia had the dominating {a-}{k-} and held after a board of bricks. They're both on 800,000 now.
